3. Hinterland dangerous goods arrival procedure

Before goods transport operations take place and at least before transport documents are issued, the forwarder or any agent acting on his behalf shall get prior agreement from the Safety/Dangerous Goods Harbour Master’s office (Bureau Sécurité/Marchandises Dangereuses de la Capitainerie) on the mode of transport, including that of inward transport, the goods outward destination and whenever agreed, the duration of their stowage. Transport documents together with stuffing documents for containerized cargo shall be received by the Bureau Sécurité/Marchandises Dangereuses ou Vracs (Safety/Dangerous or bulk goods department ) 24 H 00 prior to arrival.
